Project Control Champion
Course overview
In project management, what is project control? Projects frequently fail, usually as a result of poor organization, communication, and management of project operations rather than a lack of technical expertise. This is because many project managers are unable to effectively use the current project coordination and control tools and methodologies to their projects.
In order to help an organization carry out the proper projects and accomplish them correctly, this course instructs participants on how to use project, program, and portfolio management procedures within a framework of project management governance.
What is planning and controlling a project? It is generally accepted that good planning and control are both necessary for efficient project management. Project control is a virtual discipline that draws on the other project management disciplines since it may be controlled as a result of how well the other disciplines function together.
Project control is brought to light in this training course, along with its link to and dependency on other project management disciplines. People who are new to project management, the project management community in general and practitioners of planning and control in particular should find this course interesting.
Six important issues are covered throughout the course:
Project control – what is it?
Why exert control?
What to control?
When do you control?
How do you control?
Who holds power?
